Custom Team Rashguards: How Ordering Works, Minimums and Timelines
Thinking about matching gear for your gym? Here's how custom team rashguards work, from minimums and volume tiers to realistic timelines.

Matching gear does something to a room. Everyone lines up for warm-ups in the same colors, and suddenly the gym feels like a team. If you're a coach or club owner looking at custom team rashguards, you probably have three questions: how many do we need, how long does it take, and what does it cost?
Here's the short version.
Quick answer: A single custom piece has no minimum, so one person can order one custom rashguard. Club orders for custom team rashguards start at 10 pieces, mixed across products and sizes. Delivery is 4 to 6 weeks after design approval and payment, and volume tiers lower the price from 50 pieces.
Two ways to order: single custom pieces vs club orders
This is where people get mixed up, so let's clear it up first. There are two separate routes, and they suit different situations.
Individual custom pieces (no minimum)
The custom gear collection is for one-off orders. You pick a product, add notes, upload your logo and check out like any other order. There's no minimum, so ordering just one rashguard is fine.
Prices for individual custom pieces:
- Custom BJJ rashguard: €62.90 short sleeve, €67.90 long sleeve
- Custom loose MMA shorts: €68.90
- Custom 2-in-1 strike shorts: €86.90
- Custom Muay Thai shorts: €56.90
- Custom spats: €58.90 (3/4) or €59.90 (full length)
This route suits a coach who wants a personal design, a small private group, or a gym testing an idea before a bigger run.
Club orders (10-piece minimum)
Club orders go through the custom gear for clubs page. This is the route built for custom team rashguards and full team kits. The minimum is 10 pieces, and that count is combined.
You can mix rashguards, shorts and spats, and sizes from XS to 2XL, in the same order. So 4 rashguards, 4 pairs of shorts and 2 pairs of spats count as 10. Nobody has to buy something they don't want just to hit the number.
| Individual custom piece | Club order | |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum | None | 10 pieces, mixed products and sizes |
| How it starts | Check out with notes and your logo | Contact the workshop with your concept |
| Design step | 3D mockup by email within 10 business days | Design and mockup, then feedback rounds |
| Timeline | Production starts once you approve the mockup | 4 to 6 weeks after design approval and payment |
| Volume tiers | No | Yes, from 50 pieces |
How club orders for custom team rashguards work
The club process has six steps. None of them are complicated, but knowing them up front saves a lot of back-and-forth.
- Contact and concept. You get in touch and share what you have in mind: logo, colors, products and rough numbers.
- Design and mockup. Your idea becomes a visual mockup, so you can see the design on the actual garment.
- Feedback and approval. You ask for changes until it looks right, then approve.
- Production. Each piece is made to order in Slovenia, sublimation printed and stitched.
- Quality check. Every piece is checked before it leaves the workshop.
- Delivery. The order ships to you.
The step that usually takes longest is step 3. That one's on your side, not the workshop's. More on that below.
How long do custom team rashguards take?
For club orders, delivery is 4 to 6 weeks after design approval and payment. Notice what starts the clock: approval and payment. The weeks you spend debating gold vs yellow for the logo don't count.
For individual custom pieces, you get a 3D mockup by email within 10 business days of checking out. Once you approve it, your piece is sublimated, stitched, checked and shipped with tracking.
Plan backwards from your deadline
If you want custom team rashguards for a set date, like a tournament, a seminar or the gym's birthday, work backwards:
- Pick the date you need the gear in hand.
- Subtract 6 weeks for production and delivery.
- Subtract another week or two for design feedback and collecting sizes.
That's your "start the conversation" date. If it has already passed, get in touch anyway and ask what's realistic.
The biggest cause of delays? Collecting sizes. Chasing 30 people for a size on the group chat is a combat sport of its own. Share our rashguard size guide with the team and set a firm cutoff date.
Pricing and volume tiers for club orders
Club orders use volume tiers based on the combined count of every piece in the order. The more pieces, the bigger the discount:
| Tier | Pieces | Discount |
|---|---|---|
| Recruit | 10+ | 0% |
| Warrior | 50+ | 5% |
| War Party | 90+ | 10% |
| Clan | 140+ | 15% |
| Tribe | 190+ | 20% |
| Alpha Tribe | 250+ | 25% |
Two more things worth knowing. Design work is free on orders of 25 pieces or more. And prices include 22% VAT, so there's no surprise tax line at the end.
Because the count is combined, bundling often pays off. If your rashguard order sits at 45 pieces, adding a few pairs of shorts could push you into the next tier.
What you get with custom team rashguards: fabric and print
Every piece is made to order in Slovenia, at the workshop in the Koroška region. The rashguard fabric is 85% polyester and 15% elastane at 230 g/m². You get a compression fit, reinforced seams and a chafe-resistant build.
The print is sublimated, which means the ink becomes part of the fabric instead of sitting on top. Colors don't crack or peel, even after months of washing and rolling. That matters for team gear, because a logo that flakes off is not a great look for your gym. To keep the colors bright, follow our tips on how to wash a rashguard.
Several clubs already run their own official stores this way. 10th Planet Slovenia, Fight Club Ljubljana, Antbition, KTB Fenix and Judo Team Koroška all have their gear made in the same workshop.
