1. General

TRIS IN TRIS d.o.o., the operator of the online store tribe-alpha.com, is committed to protecting your personal data and privacy. We comply with Slovenian law and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We use the personal data you give us when you visit, contact us or order only to provide our services and deliver your gear.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors, registered users and customers of tribe-alpha.com. We may update it from time to time, and the current version is always published on this page.

4. Data We Collect

  • Identity and contact data: name, surname, shipping and billing addresses, email address and phone number.
  • Business data: company name and VAT number, for business customers.
  • Account data: your encrypted password and our communication history with you.
  • Transaction data: purchase history and fulfilment records. Card and wallet payments are processed by Shopify Payments, and PayPal payments by PayPal. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Technical and cookie data: device type, browser, IP address and visit times, collected automatically. You can manage cookie preferences through our cookie banner or your browser settings.

Our store is not intended for children under 16 without parental consent.

5. Why We Use Your Data, and the Legal Basis

  • To fulfil your order (contract): processing and making your order, delivering it, and handling returns and support.
  • To meet legal obligations (legal obligation): invoicing, accounting and tax records.
  • To run and improve the store (legitimate interest): site security, fraud prevention and basic statistics.
  • For marketing (consent): newsletters and marketing cookies, only if you have agreed. You can withdraw consent at any time.

6. Who We Share Data With

We never sell your data. We share it only with partners we need to run the store:

  • Shopify, our e-commerce platform and payment processor (Shopify Payments).
  • PayPal, if you pay with PayPal.
  • GLS, our delivery partner, which receives only your name, address and phone number.
  • Apps we use to run the store, such as email, chat and loyalty tools, and only the data each one needs.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

When data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, it is protected by GDPR safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How Long We Keep Data

  • Account data: while your account is active, and for up to one year after you close it.
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
  • Order and invoice data: as long as Slovenian tax and accounting law requires.

After that, we delete or anonymise your data.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your personal data,
  • correct inaccurate data,
  • have your data erased where no legal obligation requires us to keep it,
  • restrict or object to processing, including direct marketing,
  • data portability,
  • withdraw your consent at any time.

To use any of these rights, email info@tribe-alpha.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovenian Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec, www.ip-rs.si).
