Two black kanji sit at the centre of the chest: 柔道, judo, literally "the gentle way." 柔 (ju) means soft or yielding, 道 (do) means the way or path. It is the idea Jigoro Kano built judo on: don't meet force with force, give way, break their balance and use their own power to throw them. Around it, faint grey brushstrokes scatter across the white like broken calligraphy, quiet enough to keep the kanji in charge. A shirt for judoka who know that gentle never meant easy.
The premium polyester-elastane blend stretches without tearing. The compression fit supports you through every roll, every grip fight and every scramble. Reinforced seams hold up session after session.
