General

  • Tribe Alpha e-gift cards ("gift card") can be used to buy products in the online store at www.tribe-alpha.com.
  • Gift cards are not a physical cash equivalent and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Purchase and delivery

  • An e-gift card counts as a means of payment, not a product, so no VAT is charged when you buy it (VAT is charged only when goods are bought with the gift card).
  • After successful payment, the buyer receives the card in digital form (.pdf or image) at the email address provided.
  • The issuer is not responsible for an incorrect email address entered by the buyer.

Validity

  • Each gift card is active from the day of purchase and is valid for 24 months from the date of issue.
  • Any remaining balance expires when the card expires, unless the law provides otherwise.

Use

  • The gift card can be used to pay for all products in the Tribe Alpha online store.
  • Any remaining balance can be used on future purchases.
  • Gift cards cannot be used to pay for shipping or to buy other gift cards.

Limitations

  • The buyer or recipient of the gift card is responsible for keeping it safe.
  • Tribe Alpha (Tris in Tris d.o.o.) is not responsible for lost, stolen or
    damaged cards.
  • Returns: If goods paid for with a gift card are returned, the issuer does not refund cash. The value is returned to the gift card or issued as a new credit code.

Combining with promotions

  • Gift cards can be combined with other promotions or discounts, unless a promotion states otherwise.

Loss and misuse

  • The cardholder must keep the unique code safe. The issuer is not responsible for loss, theft or unauthorized use of the code by third parties.
  • A lost code can be reissued only when the original buyer provides proof of purchase.

Termination or changes

  • Tribe Alpha reserves the right to change these terms at any time. Changes will be published on the website.
  • Changes do not affect gift cards bought before the date of the change.

Support

Governing law

  • Gift cards and these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia.

Right of withdrawal

  • Under consumer protection law, a buyer (private individual) who bought the card remotely has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase, but only if the card has not been redeemed (not even partially).
